Prior to beginning my private clinic, I worked as a PMHNP in a community-based clinic serving individuals from diverse backgrounds with a range of mental health concerns. Outside of working with clients, I served as the Lead PMNHP, helping provide supervision to novice nurse practitioners and guiding student rotations. In addition to my clinical work, I am an Associate Teaching Professor at the University of Washington—School of Nursing where I teach graduate PMHNP students and undergraduate nursing students. Prior to completing my doctorate, I worked as a medical-surgical registered nurse in an academic medical center.
